In partnership with Senior Planet Montgomery, we are proud to offer various workshops to help bridge the technology gap for our seasoned workers. These workshops are designed to help job seekers become more comfortable with technology or introduce them to programs and applications that can assist in their job search. Our goal? To help you re-enter the workforce! We’re offering five different workshops in East County, Germantown, and Wheaton. Older adults have certain advantages when it comes to starting a business. This workshop gives an overview of the Senior Planet course, Startup! You’ll get an introduction to some of the topics the course covers, such as the basics of branding, social media marketing, and some ways to finance your business. Learn what e-commerce sites are good for listing your services or products online and ways to communicate with customers. After this introduction, you can decide whether the full, 10-week course is right for you.
