Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)
SCSEP provides on-the-job training for people with low income age 55 and older who live in Montgomery County, Maryland. Trainees receive minimum wage while working at nonprofits and government agencies to build their skills and resumes while delivering valuable community service.
Target Population : Low income age 55 and residents of Montgomery County, Maryland

Senior HelpLine
Senior HelpLine is a free information and referral for seniors, their families and caregivers regarding senior services resources within the Greater Washington, D.C. area including housing, home care, recreation and more.
Target Population : Older adults in the Greater Washington DC area

Connect-A-Ride
Connect-A-Ride is a free service that identifies transportation options for seniors and adults of all ages with disabilities. Certified Information and Mobility Specialists help with schedules, benefits and eligibility requirements.
Target Population : Seniors and adults with disabilities who are residents of Montgomery County
Intake/Eligibility :
State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)
SHIP provides Montgomery County seniors and adults under 65 with long-term disabilities with health insurance counseling, enrollment guidance, and assistance and problem resolution for issues relating to Medicare benefits and other public and private health insurance sources.
Target Population : Seniors and adults under 65 with long-term disabilities who are residents of Montgomery County

The Career Gateway
The Career Gateway is a job search training program for 50+ Professional Job Seekers offering 30 hours of small-group classroom instruction, comprehensive take-home materials, practical exercises, and a long-term mentor.
Target Population : Adults 50 and above who are searching for jobs
