Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program/ DDA Day Services
The Individualized and Group activities challenge and support people in social, artistic and recreational activities. A positive behavior support (PBS) system is integrated into the art and game activities to provide tangible reinforcement of progress towards individual goals and objectives. Goals of the program include recovery or improvement of personal, behavioral, social, and recreational and community functioning. Objectives will be tailored to the individual in a measurable manner, and they may include targeted skill development in areas such as symptom management, anger management, impulse control, attention skills, communication, social appropriateness and self-advocacy. Behavioral, social, recreational and practical life skills development are offered in community based real life settings including the client's home, place of work, or caregiver's facility.
