Job Seeker Services
WorkSource Montgomery American Job Centers’ expert staff and H.I.R.E. Specialists can share proven tips on how to achieve success in your job search. We can provide knowledge on the types of jobs that are growing and sustainable, how to prepare for them, and connections and events to help you obtain them. A first step in achieving success is to register with the Maryland Workforce Exchange so you can connect with employers and job opportunities as well as register for upcoming employment fairs, recruitment and hiring events.

Skill Up Montgomery
SkillUp® Montgomery is a virtual career services program made available by WorkSource Montgomery and Montgomery County for all MoCo residents through the Metrix Learning® platform. SkillUp® Montgomery offers FREE and UNLIMITED access to more than 5,000 high-quality online training courses for 180 days (6 months). Through SkillUp® Montgomery, the Metrix online learning platform provides unlimited access to the same training courses by the majority of Fortune 500 companies.
Target Population : SkillUp Montgomery is open to all County Residents

Youth Services
WSM provides services to Youth through partnerships with a network of skilled local providers. Their teams will guide you on your path to independence and self-sufficiency by helping you develop your educational and employment goals. A great way to start exploring career options is by assessing your strengths and interests. Our counselors will talk you through the process and help you understand which job skills are necessary to land the position you want.
In addition to career coaching and counseling, we provide job readiness training, which can make you more valuable to your new boss. And, don’t underestimate the power of volunteer work, internships–unpaid and paid–can all lead to employment.
Target Population : Out of School Youth Aged 16-24

Dual Track ReEntry Program
WSM's Dual Track Reentry Program is a partnership with Montgomery County's Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. We have staff dedicated to providing workforce services to clients at the jail at our Satellite American Job Center delivering basic services. Upon release, participants receive job training and placement services facilitated by our community based staff. Community based staff serve other customers returning to Montgomery County from other juristictions.
Target Population : Justice System Involved Adults (youth are eligible for OSY programs)
