SMALL BUSINESSES/EMPLOYERS
As part of the SkillUp® Montgomery program, WSM has made some of the features of the Metrix Learning® System available to local MoCo employers. Metrix Learning® is a comprehensive platform that delivers assessments, online skill training, and cost-effective programs for 130+ industry-recognized certifications from anywhere with internet access, 24/7. So whether you are looking to upskill incumbent staff, find skilled candidates, or for new hire training, our SkillUp® Montgomery program has what you need for free or minimal costs.
Custom curricula can be developed to a particular employer or industry. Employers can also list job openings, descriptions, and the skills they are looking for. Jobseekers can then view the job listings and take an assessment. Passing the assessment allows them to upload their resume and send information directly to the employer.
Employers can select relevant assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills and schedule interviews. For jobseekers who are not successful in passing the assessment, the system provides course recommendations and a personalized learning plan that allows them to retake the assessment when they are ready.
