Getting Your Resume Noticed

Applying to jobs and not hearing back? Constantly being rejected without an interview? Join us to learn how hiring is conducted from the viewpoint of recruiters with the use of technology. Including how applications are filtered, ranked, and tracked and what you, as a job seeker, can do to ensure that your resume ends up in the recruiters’ list of resumes for further consideration. We will learn and practice how to look at job descriptions for keywords and tailor your resume for success.  

***All workshops scheduled for our American Job Centers located in Wheaton and Germantown will go on as planned but will now take place online. You can access them via our web calendar. Participants must register on the Maryland Workforce Exchange (MWE). Once registered, you’ll be emailed an invitation with instructions to attend the workshop at the scheduled time.
