WorkSource Montgomery Young Adult Opportunity Program is a free program that is run by Montgomery County to help disconnected youth ages 16 to 24.  Disconnect simply means youth that are unemployed, high school dropouts, involved in the juvenile or adult justice system, low income, basic skills deficient, homeless or may have a disability. Our team helps to guide our clients on the path to independence and self-sufficiency by assisting them to develop his/her educational and employment goals. In addition to career coaching, counseling and resources, we provide job readiness training, which can make our clients more marketable.

The Monthly Mingle is designed for customers who are both employed and unemployed to come into our office and mingle with the staff to ask questions, learn about different resources, sign up for training and upcoming job leads and enjoy refreshments.
