Sharlene Gray joined WorkSource Montgomery in May 2019 as the American Job Center One Stop Operator. As the One Stop Operater, she oversees the American Job Center operations in Germantown and Wheaton. She brings nearly 30 years of workforce development experience and expertise to her position with WSM.
Prior to joining WSM, Ms. Gray spent the majority of her professional career in Pittsburgh, PA – first, working for a corporate law firm and then for Worksmith Insitute where her interest and appreciation for workforce development began. She then joined ResCare Workforce Services as a Program Director where she remained for over 18-years. During that time, she managed operations for a youth employment center, oversaw grant programs, implemented workshops, and was responsible for overall performance and customer satisfaction.
Ms. Gray relocated to Washington, DC in 2018. She holds a Bachelor\’s degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
