English language classes

We offer 3 sessions of English language classes per year--basic, intermediate, and advanced. Classes are on Zoom and taught by trained teachers.

 

Target Population: Adult, non-English speakers

Intake/Eligibility: Our organizers generally recruit people from the neighbors where they have been building relationships with community members, but we also take referrals from social service agencies.

Sewing Academy

We provide a 6-month, in-person Sewing Academy to teach basic sewing skills.

 

Target Population: Immigrants living in Wheaton
