MoCo CAP, short for Montgomery County Career Advising Program, is an innovative and collaborative effort offered by the following partners:
MoCo CAP empowers Montgomery County students in grades 6–12 to build the skills and confidence to navigate their careers for life by addressing the College & Career Readiness (CCR) pillar of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future.

Through dedicated Career Advising Coaches in every middle, high, and special school, students learn to advocate for themselves and connect that knowledge to real-world opportunities. Coaches also partner with educators to integrate career awareness into the classroom, using the RIASEC framework (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional) to help each student chart a meaningful and viable career path.
