Community Learning Groups (CLG)
The Community Learning Groups (CLG) program is designed to help more English learners find a pathway to studying English and to recruit and train those interested in teaching English, particularly from communities where there are limited English learning opportunities. A 9-week introductory CLG class focuses on building participants’ confidence; at the end of the class participants are referred, based on their needs, to other adult ESOL classes to continue their study.

Intake/Eligibility : Through partner community organizations/groups
Professional Development Institute
MCAEL provides professional development opportunities for adult ESOL instructors and program administrators, including an annual series of workshops and meetings.

Intake/Eligibility : Through partner community organizations/groups
