Target Population: English as a Second Language Learners
Intake/Eligibility: Maryland resident. At least 18 years old. No F-1 or J-1 Visa holders. All new students must take placement test in person. At registration new students will be tested for their skill level, and assigned to the appropriate class level. Only students in Advanced ESOL level classes must pay tuition.

English Literacy and Integrated Education - Vocational ESOL in the areas of health care, building trades, customer service, technology, education, and automechanics

The MI-BEST courses are perfect for students whose English language skills are at least high intermediate and who with to earn nationally recognized certification in health care, apartment maintenance, and more.

GED Test Preparation
For adults in Maryland who need to get their High School Diploma. GED Test Preparation Classes include three levels: 1.) Adult Basic Education (ABE) is for those students who need basic skills in reading and math. 2.) Pre-GED Test Preparation is for students who have stronger skills, but need more work in all of the content areas. 3.) GED Test Preparation is for students who are ready to focus on the academic areas covered by the official State test.
 
Target Population: Adults who want to attain High School equivalency through the GED Test
Intake/Eligibility: Maryland Resident. At least 18 years old - Students 18 years of age, must provide official documentation of school withdrawal. Students with F1 or J1 visa cannot take classes in this program. Goal of taking the GED Test to obtain a High School credential. Prospective students must attend an online orientation. Prospective students must take an in-person test to be placed in a class (online or in-person). Students at the GED® level must pay tuition.
Boys to Men Program at Montgomery College
Boys to Men (BTM) is a mentoring program aimed specifically at the retention of Men of Color at Montgomery College. BTM seeks to foster a greater degree of academic success, student activism, and personal responsibility. Students enrolled in our program will learn about various support services and resources available at college and within the community.
 
Target Population: Men of color that attend Montgomery College
Intake/Eligibility: Prospective members must be referred by the Montgomery College Counseling office.
