CC’s Learning Community Program (LC) provides training and support to staff of other nonprofits. A case study approach is used and we work with other workforce development-focused organizations to increase their expertise in helping the disadvantaged find meaningful employment.

Direct Access Career Counseling
The Direct Access Services Program serves individuals seeking services who are not covered under any existing grants or contracts. We charge a sliding-scale copay. Unlike our other clients who are referred to us and whose services are paid for under existing grants and contracts, Direct Access clients learn about this service through word of mouth and reach out to us for help. The program grows annually, with no marketing -- evidence of the need for services like ours in the community. We do not have the resources to work intensively with all who request our help.

Target Population: Adults, ages 18-70, under or unemployed
Intake/Eligibility: Clients refer themselves; they can determine eligibility at https://careercatchers.org/one-on-one-employment-counseling/
Domestic Violence Career Counseling
The Domestic Violence (DV) Program serves Montgomery County residents and helps DV victims obtain financial self-sufficiency from their abusers, supporting the whole family’s long-term safety. CareerCatchers works closely with the victim's advocate or therapist for this program.

Target Population: Survivors of Domestic Violence
Intake/Eligibility: Partners from Montgomery County Domestic Violence Programs refer clients; they can determine eligibility at https://careercatchers.org/one-on-one-employment-counseling/
