The TOGETHER Program/JUNTOS en PAREJA
The TOGETHER Program/JUNTOS en PAREJA is a FREE program and a University of Maryland research project for couples to receive relationship and financial education workshops, connection to community resources, gift cards, and more! The workshops are designed to help couples: Strengthen their relationship, Apply healthy relationship skills to improve communication, Identify relationship stressors, Address financial burdens & stress, and Learn coping skills to better manage stress and finances. More about the workshops... They are: Six 2.5-hour sessions, held once a week, at the same day/time, for 6 consecutive weeks (i.e. Tuesdays from 6-8:30 pm or Saturdays from 10 am - 12:30 pm); Offered in English or Spanish; Online or In-Person In a group setting of 3-10 couples; Led by our relationship expert and financial expert facilitators (usually marriage and family therapists and accredited financial counselors). Case managers also work one on one with all participating couples to connect them with our community partners and additional free or low-cost, local resources such as: Free tax prep, Couples therapy, Employment services, Housing searching, Financial coaching and Homebuyer education.
