Recovering from a Toxic Work Environment

May 16 @ 1:15 pm - 3:15 pm

Today’s professionals are seeking working environments, whether virtual or in-person, where they can mentally and emotionally thrive. A recent study conducted by MIT’s Sloan School of Management found that a toxic workplace culture is the number one reason people leave their jobs. However, in the aftermath you may find yourself wondering how you can effectively recover from that trauma so that you don’t take it into your next professional opportunity. Join Worksource Montgomery for a workshop that will help you learn to process and release your negative or toxic work experiences.

***All workshops scheduled for our American Job Centers located in Wheaton and Germantown will go on as planned but will now take place online. You can access them via our web calendar. Participants must register on the Maryland Workforce Exchange (MWE). Once registered, you’ll be emailed an invitation with instructions to attend the workshop at the scheduled time.

Programs and initiatives offered by WSM are supported in part by the Employment and Training Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $10,488,310.
