Adult Residential/Community Living Services
Residential/Community Living Services for Adults offers support to individuals 21 years of age or older to live in the community, as an alternative to institutionalization or remaining in their parents’ home. Individuals supported in residential services live in an apartment, townhouse, condominium or single-family dwelling unit owned or leased by CSS. CSS currently owns and operates residences throughout Gaithersburg, Germantown, and Clarksburg, Maryland. Each residence serves as a home for one, two, or three individuals. Each residence is located in a typical neighborhood, close to shopping, transportation, and community resources. Individuals choose where they wish to live and with whom. The Developmental Disabilities Administration approves the service plan and location chosen as well as the staffing ratio and support services.

Target Population: Adults 21 and older

Adult Day Habilitation Services
Day habilitation services are designed to provide a meaningful day which reflects the interests and preferences of each individual. The Developmental Disabilities Administration approves the plan, including the level of staff support and hours of service needed to achieve the desired outcomes and goals. CSS provides day habilitation 260 days per year and for up to 8 hours per day.
