In 2021, WorkSource Montgomery (WSM) launched the Community Workforce Network (CWN) to help Montgomery County recover from the 2020 pandemic’s economic impact. Backed by a $4 million investment, CWN has supported over 4,500 residents, including immigrants, young adults, and ex-offenders, with customized workforce services.
CWN has grown rapidly, building a robust network of 150+ organizations tackling workforce challenges through collaboration and innovation. Its standout achievement, the Montgomery County Community Asset Map, connects residents, businesses, and partners to local service providers, ensuring easy access to critical resources.
