MD Montgomery County TANF

The program provides a continuum of services for individuals receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). Services include job readiness, community referrals & resources, career counseling, hiring solutions, job & internship placements and retentions services. We partner with community & government agencies, employers and local businesses for placement and internships. We focus on 'Putting America to Work' by assisting the local community first. We also assist with registering Montgomery County residents for SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program).

 

Target Population: TANF and community residents (SNAP)

Intake/Eligibility: For TANF services, the candidate must be deemed eligible by DHHS. For SNAP services, we conduct outreach in the community.
