Housing Stabilization

UMAN provides emergency financial assistance to households facing eviction and/or loss of a vital utility service

 

Target Population: UMAN serves residents of Germantown and Gaithersburg that are facing homelessness.

Intake/Eligibility: UMAN requires a written referral from Montgomery County's Emergency Services, HOC-ES, or the City of Gaithersburg's Community Services division. In addition to a referral, UMAN requires a court notice, late letter or utility disconnection notice.
